“ This location is amazing to have a brunch with friends and family, or even by yourself. With such a nice view of the canal, beautiful modern decor and comfortable seating, this is the ideal location. The atmosphere is beautiful in the summer to have the option to also sit outside for a nicer view, but I’m sure it will also be great in the winter. If eating here, I would recommend the full English pancakes! The pancakes have the perfect mixture of sweet and savoury with a lovely syrup that mixes well with the rest of the meal. 10/10 This location is also very insta worthy and great for some quick posts for your stories. The service also makes it even better with the waiters and waitresses all being so kind and helpful, checking up on you often. A MUST VISIT (The restaurant is up some stairs, so it wouldn’t be the best for wheelchair access) ”
“ This was worth my money and time and I enjoyed every bit of it with my girls. It tasted just about right. The sauce was on point. I found the ambience really chilled and comfortable. One thing I feel was lacking is staff, I sort of think they need more hands or at least one person to look around to see if when customers wants a waitress. I will certainly visit again and I highly recommend GSS ”

“ A good spot for drinks and a catch up with friends. The first espresso martini I ordered was really good. They have a fun selection of cocktails. We found ordering via the QR code quicker than the bar, but some food menu offers didn’t seem to be available online which meant having to use the bar to order. ”

Drinks (including cocktails) were extremely good and we couldn’t believe how quick and attentive all the staff were! We were served my Jess and she was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much! “ Went to Gas street social for a quick late lunch. The place was pretty much empty and got seated quickly. The staff are friendly and polite. The place is quirky, clean and spacious. There is plenty of seating. Ordered some sandwiches with sides. Everything was absolutely delicious and left so full. Some good portions. The only downside was the loaded fries which had a bit too much toppings and made the fries a bit soggy but that's a personal preference. Tried their battered gherkins and they were delicious as well as the onion rings. Overall nice experience and definitely will be back in future. ”
